- MDARC General Meeting - 3rd Friday of each month
The clubs net is held every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm on the W6CX repeater system (147.06 + PL 100Hz, 441.325 + PL 100Hz & 224.780 - PL 77Hz, EchoLink: W6CX-R /133896, IRLP: 3057). -
RACES Training - 3rd Saturday of each month
Get current training information on the RACES website or listen to the Contra Costa County Emergency Communications Net for the Time, Location and Topic. The net is held every Thursday evening at 7:20 pm on the WA6HAM repeater system (147.735 MHz, 145.410 MHz & 145.490 MHz). -

Field Day 2012
- June 23-24
Field Day is always the fourth full weekend In June, beginning at 1800 UTC Saturday and running through 2100 UTC Sunday. To find a group in your own home area, use the Station Locator. More information is available on the ARRL Field Day website and/or download the 2011 Field Day Packet.
Hamfests
- Valley of the Moon Amateur Radio Club - April 28, 2012
This is a half-day Hamfest event where the public as well as Amateur Radio Operators meet to observe and use Ham radio equipment to make connections with other Ham operators in California, as well as other states and countries.
